January

Happy January, friends!

If you’re new to my monthly-ish emails, welcome. If it’s been a while, you know me - I’m a bit inconsistent with them, but we’ll see what 2025 brings! Still, welcome back!

A so-you-know for the newbies. My aim is to send quick relationship, communication, and change management tips. More specifically, topics are centered on how to:

  • Build better relationships (with Self & others)

  • Have more productive & peaceful conversations

  • Make and manage change with ease

Here’s your quick tip for today - lean into what makes you uncomfortable. Why? It helps build strength and confidence. Plus, it takes more time and energy to avoid.

I’ll also let you know about new offerings like a new online women’s group coming soon!

Finally, I’ll share my latest outdoor inspirations (Ecotherapy anyone?!) Like this one -

I spend time outdoors every day with my pups, unless the weather is truly dangerous. I run or walk or both. Sometimes I just sit and reflect.

This morning, I saw a gaggle of geese floating along our cold but beautiful waterfront. They reminded me of my decision to lean into the winter weather here in New England more than 20 years ago. I was tired of dreading the cold. I wanted a better relationship with this season. I started by getting some gear and taking small, manageable steps. Now I love it.

This new habit turned routine has become more like a ritual; an internal call and connection with nature that I often can’t wait to answer.

I’ve witnessed so many amazing sunrises and striking messages from the universe that I would have otherwise missed. I’ve experienced more internal peace, understanding, and happiness than I ever imagined possible. I’ve learned that nature is a mirror for what’s happening inside of us, and we are a reflection of her.

What new habit or routine do you want to build? What obstacle do you want to overcome? When and how will you start?
